Technical Project Manager

Job Description

- Strong ability to review and evaluate adequacy of existing policies, standards and procedures that affect the performance of the Project Control Analyst, Mentor and Quality Lead roles and responsibilities;

- Strong ability to read and interpret the data, perform verification and notice corresponding managers if any indication goes down, get to right escalation and work with the manager on action plan and follow up to turn the track back;

- Strong ability to articulate improvement suggestions to the established Project Management Program;

- Strong ability to handle activities on multiple projects within the same or different accounts. Ability to handle multiple project responsibilities simultaneously and switch among them quickly to meet prioritized business needs;

- Strong ability to work independently with integrity. Also ability to work in a team environment, even when remote support is required;

- Strong ability to deal with and manage ambiguity & change;

- Strong ability to independently generate presentations regarding Project Control Analyst activities and status, and present them to senior management;

- Working with client contractual and service level agreements;

- Define the technological strategy with the development team of each project;

- Assess technical risk and mitigation plan;

- Track and measures project's progression;

- Scout for and evaluates new technology and tools as opportunities for innovation and development excellence;

- Help to identify high risk areas in the building & stores of An Nam Group;

- Aid in all stages of post-production including during finalizing;

- Cooperate with the contractors in solving technical issues;

- Provide advice and leadership on plant & equipment procurement/purchase;

- Take an active part in the business development function;

- Active participation in the search for cost savings relating to operational overheads & implement solutions to improve company productivity;

- Supervision of new property development projects from study stage (cost, architectural, environmental etc) to the execution & completion on site;

- Manage the Construction & Maintenance (C&M) team to handle the store constuction & maintenance project & stores to make sure the highest quality & meet deadline;

- Supervise the performance of the Contractors / Suppliers and reviews contract plans and specifications for compliance with appropriate project requirements;

- Co-ordinate with the internal Departments, Designer & all parties involved in the planning, design, and construction process;

- Follow up subordinate to ensure construction contract closeout and maintains documentation files system of C&M Department;

- Review, analyze & suggest the Tender Document & Quotation to Management for selection;

- Suggest the recommendation of store construction & maintenance project to the Management for selection;

- Contact & c-ooperate with Authorized Department related to C&M projects;

- Handle all activities relate the construction project: Preparation, testing, inspection, safety, handing over and as-built document;

- Manage maintenance staff: work plan, work report, work schedule, technical method, etc.;

- Setting up the planning of maintenance for building & stores. Follow up maintenance works;

- Coordination: solve the emergency incident;

- Looking for subcontractor and supplier to provide material, equipment, maintenance service, renovation service;

- Perform other ad-hoc projects or special tasks assigned by Board of Directors.

Job Requirement

- Bachelor degree in Project Management, Techique or relative fields. MBA prefered.

- At least 6 years of experience in technical project management.

- Strong knowledge of organization's policies and procedures, project management principles and practices, software development methodologies such as Catalyst and project management tools such as MS Project, ePMO, Performa and WSM/Novient.

- Strong knowledge of project management methodology such as those found in the Project Management Institute.

- Mature, tactful, innovative and progressive.

- Pleasant and outgoing personality.

- French speaking will be preferable. Fluency in written and spoken English is a must.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Project and specialized softwares in technical.
